Most people dream of having their own home, a dream we share and support.  With our projects we are building low cost, single family homes, in a beautiful setting for individuals and families who plan to live in their homes full-time.
 
We believe that people who work in Hood River - in our schools, in our stores, in our city - should be able to own homes here.  However, real estate prices continue to climb, and many people have a hard time both living and working in Hood River.  It is these people we strive to get into one of our homes.

Due to the economy, the housing, and the banking situation we have no affordable housing projects going on at this time.
 
Last project milestones:  Cottage Lane
10/30/2006   29th Street work begins to gain access to the property
1/15/2007     Inside PUD road work begins
2/15/2007     First home building permit submitted for approval by the City
4/2/2007       We begin to frame the first home!
4/24/2007    Second home started
5/07/2007    Third home started
5/17/2007    We join the Oregon Energy Trust program to provide super energy efficient homes
5/21/2007    Website updated with a new siteplan map for this project
7/2/2007       Phase 1 plat all signed off and recorded
7/9/2007       First home prices set:  $198,500
Sept 2007    First person moves into her new home!  2 more homes under agreement.
10/6/2007    We are part of the Enviro Home tour
11/10/2007  Four homes, of the 11 available in phase 2, are on 'hold' for certain people
11/11/2007  First phase of homes (first 7) are sold, we now wait on paperwork with City before selling phase 2
3/17/2008    Paperwork with City complete! We can start selling the remaining 11 homes (6 on hold, 5 remaining to sell)
8/15/2008    Last home in the project is under agreement, sale pending 9/15/08
10/1/2008    Project Complete - thank  you everyone!
